    Centre for Information Technology

    The Institute’s centre for Information Technology has state of the art IT setup to facilitate the students and participants. In all, there are 132 personal computers (PCs) in the Institute networked through two separate local area Networks. Computer Lab, which has been renovated, has 40 i5 Processor Computers, connected in LAN e-server. Latest software are being used in the Institute like Windows -2007/2008/2010 Linux, Netware on servers and Windows desktop PCs, MS- Office Project Dreamweaver 5.5, CorelDraw X5, Adobe Acrobat X Pro & other Software for students. The IT set up of the Institute Includes Other useful hardware devices like Scanner, CD-Writers, and Printers etc. The Internet facility is made available through Wi-Fi to the entire campus, including PGDM Girls & boys’ hostel, through National Knowledge Network, New Delhi, with 100 Mbps speed which is secured through licensed Anti Virus software and through installation of Unified Threat Management (UTM) device..

    The Institute has launched Diploma in Management of Computer Operations (DMCO) in the year 2010 and has successfully conducted 8 batches. This is an exclusive Diploma and first of its kind in the country. The contents of the Diploma are based on actual requirements of Cooperative Institutions like Banks, Sugar Factories and Dairy Cooperatives and therefore, will go a long way in systematic implementation of computerisation to achieve expected results through computerisation. The Course Curriculum of this Diploma would help the participating staff/officers to shoulder the challenging responsibility of IT Security, Data Base Administration etc. This Diploma is approved by NCCT, New Delhi.
